Regulations for visitors
The Tropentheater is a member of the Dutch Association of Theatre and Concert Building Directorates (VSCD) and operates in accordance with the general regulations for visitors drawn up by the VSCD.
Parking
A limited number of parking spaces in the KIT car park are available for visitors to the Tropentheater on display of an admission ticket (Linnaeusstraat entrance). If no free parking spaces are available here, ample (paid) parking parking can be found in the vicinity of the KIT.
Disabled
Those attending in a wheelchair are advised to inform the box office in advance. A parking space in the KIT car park is reserved for disabled visitors (Linnaeusstraat entrance).

Cloakroom
It is not permitted to take coats and bags into the Great Hall. Use of the cloakroom next to the Great Hall is free of charge.
Latecomers
To avoid disturbing artists and audience alike, visitors arriving after the performance has started will not be admitted to the auditorium. Tickets are non-refundable.
Children
Children under the age of six are not permitted to attend regular performances at the Tropentheater. The minimum age for youth performances is four, unless otherwise specified.
KIT membership
The Tropentheater is part of the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT). KIT is a centre of knowledge and expertise in the areas of international cooperation and intercultural communication.

Audio/Visual recordings
Requests to make audio and/or video recordings should be made, well in advance, to the Publicity and Marketing department +31 20 5688 241. Recordings are not permitted without express approval.
