How to get there
Public transport
From Central Station: tram 9 or bus 22. Or metro to Weesperplein, then tram 10 (destination Azartplein), or 15 minute walk (approx.).
From Amstel station: metro to Wibautstraat, then tram 3 (destination Muiderpoort)
From Muiderpoort station: tram 3, 7 or 14, a few minutes’ walk
From Dam Square: tram 9 or 14
From Leidseplein: tram 7 or 10
From Museumplein: tram 3

In the case of big events (marathon, entry of St. Nicholas and the like), traffic around the Tropentheater might be diverted. We then advise you to travel to metro station Weesperplein or to train station Amsterdam Muiderpoort, and to continue on foot from there. Don't forget to take extra travel time into account.

Car
Ring road A10, exit S113 Watergraafsmeer/Diemen going towards Centrum. You come out on the Middenweg, which becomes the Linnaeusstraat. The Tropentheater is situated at the corner of Linnaeusstraat and Mauritskade.

Taxi
There is a taxi rank very near to KIT, on the Linnaeusstraat in front of the NH Tropenhotel. There is also a taxi rank at Amsterdam Centraal Station.
