Vodou dance from Haïti
Never seen before in the Netherlands... Vodou dance rituals transformed in a contemporary dance performance from Haïti! Jeanguy Saintus uses his body as an instrument to express the rich mix of Caribbean culture and contemporary life. Saintus pushes the limits of modern dance with Ayikodans, a group of 8 dancers. Especially for the Vodou exposition in the Tropenmuseum, Ayikodans and Saintus will perform today. An exciting performance!
